Where exactly in the world is Paysera? The answer is more complex than it seems
Global yet local: 9 countries, one Paysera
Encountering the Paysera brand across Europe is no coincidence – it’s the outcome of a carefully crafted strategy. Over the past two decades we have grown beyond our home market by taking a different path than most financial institutions. Rather than opening branches, we placed our trust in local partners. Today, our physical offices – owned and operated by local entrepreneurs proudly flying the Paysera flag – are active in 9 countries:
-
Baltic region: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia;
-
Balkans: Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Kosovo;
-
Eastern Europe: Georgia and Ukraine.
Why choose this model? Because financial habits are deeply rooted in culture, and no one understands a local market better than those who call it home. Our collaborative approach – resembling a franchise – is straightforward: we provide technology, expertise, and branding, while our partners bring invaluable insight into local customs and needs. This partnership enables new Paysera ventures to scale faster than starting from scratch.
EU licence: the freedom to operate across Europe and beyond
In today’s digital era, having a physical presence in every country is no longer essential. Our licence, issued in Lithuania – a member of the European Union – enables us to offer services across all EU and European Economic Area (EEA) countries. This means that even in places where we don’t maintain a physical office or local partner, clients can effortlessly open accounts, make transfers, and manage their finances securely and conveniently.
This licence also enables us to onboard clients from outside the EU/EEA, following a rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) process that meets the highest European standards.

Our philosophy is straightforward: the best service happens when clients are spoken to in their native language. That’s why our website is available in multiple languages, and we handle customer inquiries and calls in up to 19 languages. This broad linguistic reach is made possible through close collaboration with our joint venture partners and external call centres.
Our 24/7 English support follows a 'follow the sun' model: the handoff starts with our team in Lithuania, and as the Earth turns, your call or message is answered by a consultant located where it’s daytime or evening, ensuring seamless, around-the-clock support.
Call centre in the Philippines. While it’s the middle of the night in Europe and just afternoon in America, our partners in the Philippines are on hand to answer your calls in English. Thanks to them, you’ll receive support even after the working day has ended in Lithuania.
Call centre in Colombia. As the sun travels further west, our team in Colombia takes over the relay. They support customers in both English and Spanish, enabling us to cover time zones across both sides of the Atlantic.
Call centre in Morocco. It not only enhances our 24/7 English support network but also acts as the primary hub for engaging with customers in French and Arabic.
This global model guarantees 24/7 support in English – but our service network extends far beyond that.
Client support centres located in Vilnius, Alytus, and Visaginas (all in Lithuania) provide support via calls and emails in Lithuanian, English, Russian, and Polish.
Call centre in Madagascar. To provide exceptional service to our French-speaking customers, we partner with experts in Madagascar. This reflects our commitment to sourcing talent – even from the most remote corners of the world.
Our local partner companies in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, and Georgia assist with even the most complex queries, supporting speakers of these countries’ languages and beyond.
The power of multiculturalism: more than just languages
Multiculturalism is at the heart of our strength. It empowers us not only to grasp the unique needs of diverse markets but also to enrich our organisation as a whole. By uniting the best practices from across the globe, we continuously evolve and innovate, enabling us to deliver more flexible and cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
This diversity forms the foundation of our success in collaborating with international clients and partners, enabling us to understand their expectations and deliver services that go beyond geographical and cultural boundaries.
