Different methods to top up your Paysera account

After generating the top-up instructions, you will see that there are several ways for different currencies to be added to your Paysera account. Here are some of them:

Top up via bank transfer to your IBAN account (euros)

If you are making a transfer in EUR, you may perform it straight to your IBAN account. Paysera is a member of systems such as SEPA, SEPA Instant, and TARGET2, which allow receiving payments in EUR from all over the world.

Top up via bank transfer in other currencies

When generating top-up instructions, you will see that you can top up in different currencies by performing a transfer from one of the banks listed in the instructions. If you follow the instructions, the recipient of the transfer will actually be Paysera and not yourself. In the “Purpose of payment” field you will enter your Paysera EVP number, and once the money is received, the amount will be credited to your personal Paysera account.

Automated account top-up

This top-up method is available only in some countries where the Paysera payment initiation service (PIS) is available. After generating instructions via the web, you might see an option to make an automated account top-up, which means that after selecting your bank, you will be redirected to the bank's page, and you will only need to review the payment details and confirm them. This is faster and easier than a manual top-up via bank transfer.

Top up a Paysera account with cash

In some countries, cash top-up is also available. A cash top-up barcode will be generated in your app or online banking if this feature is available in your selected country and currency. For example, it is a popular top-up method in Lithuania and Latvia.

A top-up with cash can be also done in the Paysera client support centre in Vilnius, as well as partner places like Maxima, Narvesen, FoxBox terminals, and so on. All of them can be seen in the app: log in to your account > Top up > Select Lithuania and EUR (for example) > Top up in cash > Tap on the map pin in the top right to see all locations.

However, take note that there are cases when a top-up barcode is not needed and a personal document is enough. You can see all the necessary requirements for cash in and out places on our website.
